BCSN & GCAC partner to broadcast 2020 Basketball tournament
Men and Women’s semifinals and finals streamed online LIVE for the second consecutive year.
ATLANTA, GA. (February 20, 2020) – Black College Sports Network (BCSN) will be streaming LIVE the men’s and women’s basketball semifinals and finals of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) tournament held in New Orleans, La. The semifinals will take place on Saturday March 7, 2020 and the finals will take place on Sunday March 8, 2020.
The games will be played at the Xavier Convocation Center, the university’s nearly 4,000 seat, state-of the-art multipurpose facility.
Broadcasts of the 2019 tournament were viewed by more than 5,000 unique visitors online via the BCSN website and YouTube channel. Each viewer watched for an average of ninety (90) minutes per visit.
“We are excited and honored to be continuing our relationship with the GCAC and its member institutions,” said Roy M. Eavins II of the Black College Sports Network. “We look forward to providing more exposure for these amazing institutions as well as a great tournament broadcast.”
“With a conference that represents schools throughout the region, it’s so important for us to provide those students, alumni, and fans who aren’t able to travel with a platform where they can still watch their teams,” said GCAC Commissioner Dr. Kiki Baker Barnes. “BCSN is a great partner for us to do that and we’re excited about the product we’ll deliver this March.”
